“ First off, service was GREAT! When the server AND chef check in with you on the food, that's service that stays with you. The interior was clean and nicely decorated. The server was very knowledgeable and walked us through the menu. We chose this restaurant because we love Guy Fieris DDD and it did not disappoint. The brisket was very flavorful, juicy, and truly smoked. The potato salad was so fresh! The potato buns were fluffy and so good! This restaurant has their own thing going with their BBQ and it works! I definitely recommend this restaurant. ”

“ We stopped at the Pickled Pig during a recent snow storm. Grateful that Pickled Pig was open as just about every other location was closed or closing early. We had a super fantastic squash soup, so good! I also enjoyed the chicken salad on croissant. Staff and owner were very nice. Such a wonderful find on that cold night. Highly recommend. Would definitely return next time we are in Cincinnati. ”

“ I got the special of the day which was an amazing pork belly sandwich. It literally melted with every bite. I paired it with their delicious potato salad. Side note: I have been buying their Sauerkrauts and pickles before they had a brick and mortar. The caraway kruat is my favorite and probably the best Sauerkraut that you'll ever try!!! ”

“ This place is a true staple in the neighborhood and we go all the time. All the sandwiches and sides are incredible and Gary does a tremendous job offering new and exciting dishes. The brunch is one of the best in the city, their bistro nights are top tier, and they also have delicious desserts. 10/10 easily ”

“ Not a local so I can't comment on the cultural impact of the place. The food was not bad but not great either. Stopped by m at 4p, with no wait. We got our food really quickly. Good place for a quick bite. Parking could be tricky since it is street parking. If youre looking for something out of the way that is quick and different, this is a good alternative. If you are looking for a great meal with great service and atmosphere - this is not it. ”

“ Ok, so I "randomly" chose @thepickledpig because of the deli menu and the dining room was clean and appealing. I did not look at the reviews nor did i look at the menu. So upon arriving I paused just a second , doubting if I should go in but the smell of smoked meat drew me in. I walk in and let me tell you, there was a young lady and two of the nicest men you could ever meet. The owner (I presume was behind the counter and asked is this a BBQ restaurant and ge said no, I added I smell BBQ. He said I smoke the meat and your smelling smoke turkey! My heart skipped a beat. The two gentlemen encouraged to try the smoke turkey and how one of them was having it now on a potatoe bun. I wanted to get this right, so i took a minute to look over the menu and was encouraged to look at their sides. I have to be honest , my day had been blah (but i was still grateful) so I can not tell you what's on the menu lol. I ended up deciding on the Turkey Rueben that had smoked turkey, tomme, pickled sauerkraut and russian dressing on white rye! I was also blessed with a fig oil infused cookie by one of the awesome gentlemen. BABYYYY when i tell you that sandwich did not make across the bridge - it was devoured! The turkey was so fresh, tender and SMOKED! That smoked flavor was delicious and through out every crevice in that turkey meat! I didn't have the sound mind to ask what wood was used but it almost taste like mesquite maybe even hickory. Needless to say I will be back to sit at the counter and enjoy more of the menu, but it's going to take a minute though because I'm in love with that Turkey Rueben. ”
